Music festival. / Festival musical

On October 10th and 11th we had the music festival, this year it was about "The leader in me".
We sang and represented the 7 habits of happy kids./ El 10 y 11 de octubre tuvimos el festival musical, este año fue sobre "El líder en mi".

MAPI: Museo de arte precolombino indígena

We went to MAPI. The MAPI offers to the visitors a permanent colection of arqueological pieces and musical  instruments, that belong to different  American cultures.

It has an educational program for 20.000 kids and teenagers a year.

The colections are organized in its different  themes. One it belongs to the period of time known as Paleoindio and we visit five other rooms with the different cultural regions of the continent.

El MAPI ofrece a los visitantes una colección permanente de piezas arqueológicas e instrumentos musicales, pertenecientes a diferentes culturas de América. 

Cuenta con un programa educativo que recibe anualmente más de 20.000 niños y adolescentes.

Las colecciones están organizadas en diferentes temas. Uno perteneciente a el período temporal conocido como Paleoindio y cinco salones dedicados a las diversas regiones culturales del continente.

Working with Leader in Me/ Trabajando en Lider en mi

                         Leader in me.

The Leader in Me is Franklin Covey’s whole school transformation process. It teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.

"Lider en mi", es un proceso de transformación de la escuela, creado por Franklin Covey.

Enseña a líderes en el siglo 21, desarrollando habilidades y generando autoestima basada en la idea de que todos los chicos pueden ser líderes.

                                            

Our  mission is to work together each day to learn, be a good friend and be a positive leader!

Making a cake./ Haciendo una torta.

                              The best leaders are always learning../ So, today it was time to learn how to make a cake. Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much.
                     Los mejores lideres están siempre aprendiendo...por eso, hoy, nos tocó aprender a hacer una torta. Solos podemos hacer pocas cosas, pero juntos podemos muchas mas.
